Bunting.

I really like the idea of having bunting at the wedding, both inside the marquee and hung aroung the garden. I'm thinking gingham bunting in lemon, pink and mint with touches of florals.
http://www.cottonbunting.co.uk/ have some great colours and patterns from £10 per 5m.

Country style

Combining my ideas of marrying on the Isle of Lewis and my colour scheme of mint green, I've come up with a beautiful idea for my tables.... I want white table linen with gingham napkins (in green, yellow and pink) and button napkin rings. the table centres will be big jugs with freshly cut flowers in them. I'm also thinking homemade jewellery/ cufflinks for the favours. These pictures aren't 100% what I'm after but give a rough idea of some of the aspects.

Mint green colour scheme.

I just love the pastel colours that seem so popular at this time of year. I'm thinking about mint green with touches of baby pink and lemon as the colour scheme for my big day. I'm not going to lie I'm taking the inspiration for this from some cupcakes I saw in a magazine. What do you think?

Isle of Lewis

At the moment I'm considering a wedding on the Isle of Lewis in Scottland. There is the most amazing church called Saint Moluag's. It is an old church dating back to the 16th century but with much more ancient origins, and is shrouded in mystery and legend. There is no electricity, so I quite like the idea of doing it in the autumn dusk by candlelight, as I think that would be quite romantic.

The building is very beautiful and unique and there are some amazing photo opportunities on the island, including the beach and Callanish standing stones

1920's hair pieces.

The thing that keeps drawing me back to a 1920's theme is definately the hair pieces. They are so elegant and beautiful, and would look good on me and my sisters. This is still my favourite theme!!!

Morrocan Themed Favours and Invitations.

Here are a couple of wedding favour ideas to go with my Morrocan inspired wedding.
I love these little pill boxes placed on a rich coloured napkin with a thankyou card. They could contain a little piece of hamemade jewellery/ homemade cufflinks.

Or this chocolate bar with our names and date of the wedding on is great too. I could make these sleeves myself and put them on a normal chocolate bar.

This incense wrapped in beautiful eastern inspired paper would make a great favour too.

Love this invitation, it's so elegant and detailed. The colour is perfect for this theme and I love the way the envelope opens and the wax seal.

I thought this was an unuual invite because of the way it opens. I love the pretty detailed pattern printed on it.
I love these little elephant place name holders, they are so cute.

QuicKutz Letterpress Machine.....

Still loving the idea of buying a QuicKutz Letterpress Machine to use for making my invitations. Here are the three 'wedding' plates which can be used alongside the 'everyday' plates to create some beautiful invitations, save the dates, table plans and more. They contain useful words alongside beautiful flowers, flourishes, birds, leaves and more.

Here are some examples of what you can do with the Letterpress machine and plates.......

You could combine it with beautiful patterned papers for a bold approach.

Or keep it simple and elegant.

There's the possibility of having all the stationary themed but with subtle differences like this one, I love the orange and blue colour combination here.

Or go all out with the many beautiful fonts available.
