Peacock wedding stationary.

Doing a little more research into the peacock theme, definetely in my top three so far! Here's some of the fabulous wedding stationary that's inspiring me at the minute. As a crafter I will probably be making my own wedding stationary using some of these ideas, but putting my own personnal stamp on it.

These peacock place cards are from Etsy shops Timeless Paper, I love them as they are quite plain but still fitting with the theme.
Love this invitation as it looks so classy, and gives a taster of whats to come at the wedding. Visit www.zazzle.com

This one is fab as it uses an actual peacock feather and not just a print/picture of one. Visit www.paperolive.com
This is an amazing save the date card as it is so much fun!!!! I feel that whilst I want a really classy invitation I can have a bit more fun with the save the date cards. Visit www.zazzle.com .

Zazzle is certainly my favourite shop for this theme, this fun photo album is from there too. I don't know if this is perhaps too OTT for me?

Love this thankyou card. I like the idea of our thankyou cards incorporating the wedding theme. Visit www.documentsanddesigns.com.
This thankyou card is alot more classy, I love the simple plain design. Visit https://shop.getmarried.com.

These place settings are so pretty. Visit www.magnetstreet.com.

Feathers.......

Went to Horncastle this weekend and visited a bridal shop with my Mum, they were selling some stunning hand made hair pieces. In particular we saw a stunning one made from feathers. This made me think that peacock feather hairpieces world look stunning onme and/or the girls and/or Mum at the wedding. If you aren't lucky enough to have a crafty Mum who can make them for you visit http://www.etsy.com/ to buy individual handcrafted hairpieces. Many sellers will taylor them to your specific needs and requirements. Here are a few of my favourites:

It's also worth noting that if you do intend to give this a go yourself you can source the feathers from etsy at a very good price. There are many courses available to teach you these skills too.check out http://www.emagister.co.uk/fashion_hat_making_weekend_london_courses-cinst-387125.htm.

Peacock shoes!!!!

Loving these shoes on etsy. They are hand painting on silk shoes. I think they are absolueley stunning and totally unique. Perfect if I decide on a peacock theme (Mum's favourite so far) They are priced from $80.00-$115.00. My bridesmaids could have similar designs too. The great thing about getting them handmade is you can ask the designer to create them to your exact needs.

Peacock theme......

Here are some inspirational pictures for this theme:

General ideas board, I love the wedding dress, I might not have white, and go for a pale colour like this as I think it would suit my skin tone more, and I love the idea of using feathers as decoration in the napkins and wreaths.

I loved these invitations from www.banquetevent.com, they are really elegant.

My favourite past of this theme though is the feather bouquet, my mum is very crafty at these sorts of things and I know she would make me a beautiful bouquet.
